You can send and track invoices, calculate and submit VAT it also offers automatic bank reconciliation and all of this is under their Starter plan for £12 per month.

Price packages

As you scale up your business they offer more comprehensive plans. At £24 a month your plan supports unlimited users, allowing you to expand your finance team, or outsource your accountancy services with ease. You can also forecast cash flow, send out quotations and estimates, run advanced financial reports on your business and make use of their unique AutoEntry tool which snaps receipts with just a click.

For larger businesses their £30 a month Plus plan includes multi-currency banking and invoicing as well as inventory management - both of which play a crucial role in maintaining a growing international business.


Bonus features

Sage is known for offering the best customer support among bookkeeping software firms. They offer telephone, online chat and free training which is a major boon to startups looking for a helping hand. They also offer payroll at just £1.75 +VAT per month.

QuickBooks

Standard features

For £22 a month you now have access to more oversight over your finances with advanced payment management. It also supports multi-currency payments and allows 3 users access.

With the £32 a month package you can now manage inventory, examine project profitability, allocate budgets and have up to 5 users on a team.

Bonus features

Not only is QuickBooks one of the other top bookkeeping softwares with multi integration possibilities, but it also offers a great deal on the first few months of subscription. They now offer a full 50% for the first four months allowing you to save as much as you can, while enjoying full access to your choice of the paid plan.

FreeAgent

FreeAgent took the business example that every other bookkeeping software company did, and ignored it.

There isn’t a fixed price plan for upgrading. Instead, they charge a fixed monthly fee based on your company’s legal status. Sole-traders pay £19.50, Partnerships pay £24 a month (this subscription helps with profit calculation) and Limited Companies pay £29 a month.

While it may seem pricey - it offers a fair amount of services and features. There are no limits to invoices, billable clients, projects or users. You receive all the features that are available to you.
